Neon in 2025: Everyone’s Getting Ripped Off. We’re Done Staying Quiet.
“Expensive?” Let’s Put That to Rest.
We get the comment now and then:
“Your neon signs look great, but way too expensive.”
Sometimes, it's innocent since most people don't know how things are made. Sometimes, it's internet trolls doing internet troll things.
It drives me nuts. Absolutely nuts.
Here are the facts—our prices are the same as (or even lower than) the plastic-and-acrylic stuff you see everywhere else.
Now, I’m not going to pretend the price isn’t a lot of money. It is. For something nonessential, it’s a real decision.
But what most people don’t realize is this: we’ve done everything we can to make a premium product affordable.
That means making sacrifices—but never on quality. Instead, we take thinner margins, grow slower, and profit less. That’s a trade we’re willing to make.
You won’t find that printed anywhere, but it’s the reality.
That's why it hurt's when some random internet troll calls our neon's "cheap", "overpriced," or a "rip-off." It turns out, not taking things personally... is very difficult when you're risking everything with a family who relies on you and you pour blood, sweat, and tears in to offering a premium, commercial quality sign for the same or lower price.
It didn't just happen that way. It's taken a lot of hard work to get the quality and the price point where it is today. People sometimes forget that behind every company is other people.
From one person, to another, take a second to compare our neon signs to the ones sold elsewhere. Same price or higher for theirs—not even in the same universe in terms of quality. Learn more about How Our Neon Signs Are Made
Reality Check On 24-Inch Neon Signs
What most shops sell for $450–$600:
- Thin acrylic face that scratches and yellows
- Plastic or flimsy aluminum can
- Sloppy, rushed neon bends (or LED tubes in disguise)
- Open-back frame that feels like a novelty light

What we sell for the same price on sale:
- Kiln-fired porcelain-enamel face—glass-smooth, colorfast, built to last
- Powder-coated steel can with real heft
- Hand-blown neon glass, bent clean and bright
- Fully sealed back, proper mounting—built like a vintage showroom piece
Same price range. Completely different league.

The 36-Inch Neon Comparison Is Even More Absurd
Thinking of buying a larger 36-inch round neon sign with a can from the other guys?
You’ll shell out $1,449—and still get a plastic acrylic face and a flimsy metal or resin can.
Compare that to our 36-Inch round neon sign with a porcelain face and steel can?
-
- Our everyday sale price: on a 36" round neon can is hundreds of dollars less than the other guys.
- Find our signs On Sale: you'll be 33% cheaper than their plastic version.
You’re not just saving money—you’re stepping up to a totally different product.
How Do We Offer a Better Product for a Lower Price?
There's not a ton of options and the competition has set the bar pretty low. It certainly begs the question, how are we able to offer better and sell it for less?
Simple: tight margins, zero shortcuts, and a stubborn refusal to crank out mass-produced junk. We want to build a community and make a reputation for ourselves based on quality, respect, and fair value.
If the time ever comes, you decide to buy your dream neon sign
I hope we come to mind when you choose
- What product would you rather own?
- What company would you prefer to do business with?
Option A. The company eager to introduce themself, focused on authentic craftsmanship and superior quality, and selling a vastly better product for the same or less as the competition.
Option B. Some random drop shipping website (many pop-up solely as scams) that sells you someone else's lower quality product for the same or more money. Then places the order with another business with your money who ships the product to you.

Fair Price. Real Craftsmanship.
Pick one up, feel the weight, watch the artists bend the glass, the custom cans being powder coated as an addition step, riveted and welded assembly, watch the enamel fuse with metal in the kiln, and the custom crate be made just for shipping—then try to call it “expensive.”
If you want cheap, plastic signs, they’re out there.
If you want a better sign. From a company you can trust. For the guaranteed lowest price possible. You found it.
Thus concludes my rant. Thanks for indulging me.
